The sucker rod is one of the main components in the oil rod oil extraction technology. It connects the pumping unit and the oil pump and uses traditional power to pump crude oil from the ground to the ground. The application environment of the sucker rod is relatively harsh. It has to come into contact with crude oil, which contains water, acid and alkali substances and sulfur-containing compounds, which are serious corrosion to metals.

Compared with ordinary sucker rods, carbon fiber sucker rod has the advantages of super strength, super light weight, corrosion resistance, continuity, and high energy efficiency.
    In order to overcome the shortcomings of ordinary steel sucker rods, such as heavy weight, high energy consumption, frequent failure, large piston effect, slow lifting and lowering speed, and easy wear, scientists have developed a carbon fiber composite flexible sucker rod. This sucker rod is based on unsaturated resin and uses carbon fiber as reinforcing fiber, which is cross-linked and cured at high temperature and produced through a pultrusion process.
 
What are the advantages of V&T carbon fiber sucker rods:

The tensile strength of carbon fiber is 10 times that of steel and the density is about 1/5 of that of steel. The total weight of the carbon fiber sucker rod is reduced to 1/4, and a smaller pump body can be selected, and its replacement cycle can be extended to 2-2.5 times
